FLIR thermal imaging

Thermal inspection that reads the whole array

A clean takes care of the glass. A thermal scan tells you whether the array underneath is actually healthy. We use FLIR imaging to pick up hot spots, failed cells and strings running below where they should be — the faults that quietly cost you generation.

Method

  1. 01A thermal scan of every string while we’re on the roof.
  2. 02Findings read against the output your system should be producing.
  3. 03Anything outside tolerance flagged plainly, with what it means and what we’d suggest next.

What to expect

It’s included on your first clean, so the first thing you learn is whether the system is actually working. If something’s off, you’ll know, and it’ll be on record.

Why it matters

A clean panel with a dead cell behind it is still a problem. The scan is how “the panels look clean” becomes “the system is performing.”

Common questions

Is thermal inspection a separate booking?+

It’s part of your first clean — cleaning and diagnostics on the one visit. After that you can add it to any service whenever you’d like a fresh read on the system.

What can a thermal scan detect?+

Hot spots, failed or bypassed cells, and whole strings running below expectation — the things you won’t catch by eye.

Do you repair what you find?+

We don’t do electrical repairs. We document the finding clearly so your installer or electrician can act on it without guesswork.
